Attention Nursing Assistants!
We are looking for you who are passionate about new challenges and want to help develop our department! Come to us at NIMA and become part of our wonderful team!
Our Operations
At NIMA, the neurosurgery intermediate care unit, we care for neurosurgical and neurological patients who need intermediate or postoperative care. Our acute intake mostly consists of intermediate care patients who are too ill for a regular ward but do not require full-scale intensive care. Our postoperative patients are usually part of a planned operation and come to us for a short period postoperatively.
Together with skilled nurses and doctors, we form a winning and developing team. We have close cooperation with NIVA, which is located on the same floor and ward to make care as efficient and safe as possible for our patients. Our expertise is advanced monitoring of the body's vital parameters to create the best possible conditions for the brain and to reduce the risk of complications. Our staff group consists of both experienced nurses and nursing assistants as well as newly graduated ones.
Your Mission
As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for basic care and monitoring of vital parameters. You work closely with nurses and doctors in a team. Together, we provide the best care for our patients.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant. Experience in emergency care is an advantage, but not a requirement.
Your Competence
We value good care and a positive attitude. The variation in work means that you should be flexible and able to adapt to acute situations. Personal qualities are highly valued.
We Offer
With us, you will have a varied job with the opportunity to gain good knowledge in neurosurgical care. At NIMA, we work according to the points model, which is a scheduling model that allows for more recovery and flexibility. Rotation shifts are applied in the department, meaning work during the day, evening, and night. We offer a permanent full-time position with start date according to agreement.
We provide you with an introduction tailored to your experience as a nursing assistant. The introduction includes both clinical practice and theoretical training days with our educational nurse and our educational nursing assistant. After your onboarding, you will meet our educational nursing assistant who acts as a support in your development through advice and guidance in daily work.
With us, you will receive benefits that make a difference, read about the benefits here (https://regionuppsala.se/jobba-hos-oss/bli-var-nya-kollega/formaner/).
