We at the Thoracic Intensive Care Unit (TIVA) are now looking for colleagues who want to contribute their knowledge and experience to our team and make a real difference! Our Operations
At TIVA, we work with high-tech intensive care. We are a specialist department that provides advanced treatment and care after planned and emergency thoracic surgery. The level of intensive care can vary from treatment with ECMO or mechanical heart pumps to standard intensive care after heart-lung surgery. TIVA has 6-8 beds and about 90 staff members.
We are a large team and have close collaboration where everyone is needed and focused on the patient. It is important to us that you feel secure in your work.
Your Mission
As a nursing assistant in the thoracic intensive care unit, you will have an exciting and meaningful job. You will work in a team with nurses and doctors to closely observe changes in the patient's condition and meet their care needs.
Your Qualifications
To qualify as an applicant, we are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, preferably with experience working in a hospital. Experience in an intensive care unit is an advantage.
Your Competence
We are looking for someone who has good teamwork skills, is communicative, can handle stressful situations, and can quickly switch pace. After training, you should be able to independently manage patient care for sedated patients. We highly value personal suitability.
We Offer
Permanent employment, with rotation shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends. A probationary period may apply. Start date according to agreement.
The introduction is fully tailored to individual needs based on previous experience. For applicants without prior experience, we have a developed extended introduction program. Our experienced nursing assistant mentors will provide you with guidance, feedback, and help you in your development. As a nursing assistant at TIVA, you will receive ongoing professional development through advanced training and educational days.
