Our Operations

Folktandvården Vretgränd, with 35 employees, is one of the largest and most centrally located clinics of Folktandvården Uppsala, just a five-minute walk from the central station. Our location makes it accessible for those living in Uppsala and for those commuting from northern or central Stockholm, which takes about 30 minutes.

At the clinic, several of our eleven dentists work with various areas of dental interest, and we continuously focus on developing both our staff and our operations, whether a dentist wants to deepen their dental knowledge or be challenged by the broad scope of work as a general dentist. The clinic has specialized dentists in surgery and endodontics, providing great opportunities for collaboration and internal training in these areas. Our work environment is characterized by a friendly, learning, and permissive climate where everyone, regardless of their role, receives focus and space.

Your Competence

We are now looking for a dentist who values knowledge, whether you have less experience or several years of experience in general dentistry. Even if you are newly graduated or graduating at the turn of the year or in the summer, you are welcome to apply for the position. If you are newly graduated, one of our experienced dentists will be your mentor, and you will also participate in Folktandvården's mentorship program, our introductory program for newly graduated dentists and dental hygienists.

Regardless of whether you have prior experience or are newly educated, you will find good development opportunities as a new dentist at our clinic. You will have the chance to broaden your competence as a general dentist alongside experienced colleagues at the clinic and also deepen your knowledge in various specific areas through observation and external/internal courses.

The position is a permanent full-time position. Start date is to be agreed upon. Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period, and great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities. The position may be filled before the application period ends.
