Our Operations

The clinic has about 20,000 patient visits per year and we meet patients of all ages. The section for dermatology, venereology, occupational dermatology, and hyperhidrosis includes many different specialties. Those of us who work here are nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, secretaries, and social workers.

Your Mission

Your tasks at the clinic will consist of standard nursing duties such as telephone advice, teaching injection techniques, providing information about medications/treatments, sample collections, wound care, follow-up of clinic visits, and your own nursing consultations. Administrative work is also included. As a nurse, you will also assist in doctor consultations, various laser treatments, and excisions of skin changes/skin tumors.

We work patient-centered and interdisciplinary in teams. Since Akademiska sjukhuset is a university hospital with a mission to conduct healthcare and research, you will be involved in developing care for our patients. Together at the clinic, we constantly work to improve and develop our work. Here you will have the opportunity to develop your role as a nurse through an individually tailored introduction program. In addition, you will receive training/continuing education regularly through lectures, internships at other clinics, and other planned training opportunities. We constantly strive for a good working environment and good teamwork.

Your Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse with several years of experience. The job requires you to be responsible, meticulous, and have a good demeanor. Experience in dermatology, venereology, occupational dermatology, and hyperhidrosis will be prioritized, but is not a requirement.

Your Competence

You should be structured and able to work independently and in a team. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and good teamwork.
