Our Operations

The jaw surgery section with 40 employees includes, in addition to jaw surgery, jaw and facial radiology, orthodontics, and orofacial medicine, its own sterilization and operating department, and CBCT radiology. The section conducts research with high activity in collaboration with Uppsala University and several international partners in academia and industry.

Our operations are quality certified according to SS-EN 15224 and ISO 9001. Within the area of plastic surgery and jaw surgery, a large part of the hospital's highly specialized national and regional care is conducted, as well as the county's two national healthcare assignments, all in close collaboration between different specialties.

Your Mission

As a dental nurse in orthodontics, you will be responsible for assisting in treatments and investigations. Intraoral radiography, panoramic radiography, and patient administrative work are also included in the tasks.

Your Qualifications

You are an educated Orthodontic Assistant or Dental Nurse with an interest in Orthodontics. You have knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form.

It is important that you are a positive, proactive, and committed person with experience. You take responsibility for your tasks, take your own initiatives, and want to contribute with all your competence. We also place great importance on personal suitability, ability to collaborate, and flexibility.
