Department of Surgery and Urology

We have approximately 450 employees distributed across outpatient clinics, wards, and medical sections. A large part of our care consists of national and regional patients who have been referred for highly specialized investigation and treatment. We are a research-intensive clinic in close collaboration with Uppsala University.

Endocrine Section

We are now seeking a temporary physician for the Endocrine Surgery Section. The Endocrine Section is a complete unit and conducts all types of surgical treatment within our field. We perform surgery for benign and malignant diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal glands, as well as neuroendocrine tumors in the gastrointestinal tract and pancreas. The unit conducts and participates in several research studies and teaches medical students and doctors in training.

Your Qualifications

You are a licensed physician. ATLS training and ongoing research in the field are meritorious. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and the ability to collaborate.

We Offer

We offer a temporary position for 6 months. Start date 1/3 or by agreement. Salary according to agreement. The position includes on-call duty.
