The Role of Chief Physician

The responsibilities of the chief physician include patient assessments and treatment primarily of general psychiatric patients as well as LARO treatments. As a chief physician, you will lead assessments, investigations, medical care, and treatment for the unit's patients. You will also lead assessments, referral responses, and care and treatment plans in collaboration with other units. In this role, you will coordinate operational development with a focus on medical quality control and support the unit manager in the unit's operational planning and development.

In your role as chief physician, you will also contribute to maintaining the unit's budget and participate in the supervision of ST, AT doctors, and students. You will be part of our clinic's medical team and participate in our clinic's on-call operations as a chief physician, but you as a specialist physician are also welcome to apply. We offer a permanent full-time position located at our outpatient clinic in Nässjö. The position includes on-call work and standby shifts. Start date is according to agreement.

The clinic's resources are distributed so that we take into account both the clinic perspective and the regional psychiatric care processes. We participate in the development and implementation of joint care programs and psychiatric care processes in the region.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with specialist competence in psychiatry. Previous experience in outpatient work and on-call operations is meritorious. Experience with Cosmic is also viewed positively. Since travel may occur in the position, a driver's license is required.

As a person, we believe you have good collaboration skills with colleagues and an empathetic ability to see others' perspectives. You easily adapt to changing situations and are proactive in your work, making things happen.
