The Role of Nursing Assistant - Summer Substitute

With us, you will work in the health center's own laboratory and at the urgent care unit. At the health center, you will assist the doctors and help our patients during their visits. The nursing assistant is also responsible for supplies and laundry. Your work will include independently handling medical technical equipment and performing tasks such as taking samples, EKG, etc.

We are constantly working on development and improvement, and therefore your skills and commitment will be a valuable resource for us and our patients. The urgent care unit is staffed in the evenings and weekends together with other health centers in the catchment area.

The position is a summer substitute at 100% during weeks 23-32. You will work daytime Monday – Friday with some evening and weekend shifts at the urgent care unit.

Your Future Workplace

Bra Liv Väster Health Center is located in newly built, bright, spacious, and functional premises, situated on Mossleplatån with a beautiful view of Lake Vidöstern. We have about 45 medically competent and friendly employees with a great atmosphere in the workgroup. The staffing is good and consists of responsible and self-sufficient personnel.

We have approximately 12,000 registered patients and also operate two health center branches in the countryside, in Bredaryd and Forsheda, which is a popular feature for both residents and employees. We have good and well-established contacts with our residents.

Our goal at Bra Liv Väster Health Center is "Better health for all," which should permeate every meeting with patients and among colleagues. We achieve this by showing care, thinking holistically, and creating quality.

Your Profile

A requirement is that you are a trained nursing assistant and have experience in outpatient work in primary care or urgent care. You need to feel comfortable with venipuncture. We believe that you are stable, proactive, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions with a willingness and ability to help others.

You can handle different patients with various diseases and emotional states. The work requires that you are self-sufficient and can structure your own work with an understanding of the whole. You collaborate well with others and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
