The Role of the Nurse

As a nurse with us, you will work in a team-based manner providing specialized palliative care to patients and their relatives. Collaboration with the municipality's home healthcare, inpatient care, and primary care are important parts of our work. In addition, case management, counseling, and education are significant aspects of our mission. We highly value making every meeting with patients, relatives, and our partners as good as possible based on the resources and needs present. We place a high value on competence and teamwork.

The position is permanent full-time, currently during daytime Monday through Friday. Start date by agreement. Your workplace is at Högland Hospital in Eksjö.

Your Future Workplace

Specialized Home Healthcare (SSIH) is tasked with providing good specialized palliative care to patients and their relatives. SSIH is part of the Medical Care area in Region Jönköping County and is a county-wide unit based out of our hospitals in Eksjö, Jönköping, and Värnamo. We work person-centered in teams with nurses, doctors, and social workers.

Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed nurse with experience in the profession. You have a strong interest in developing palliative care in Region Jönköping County. If you have a specialist nursing education in palliative care, we value that highly, but it is not a requirement; opportunities for further education are available within the organization. A driver's license is a requirement for the position.
