Do you want to work in a team where care, competence, and teamwork are the driving forces? At the oncology clinic's care unit in Jönköping, you will meet patients with oncological diagnoses and individuals in need of palliative care. Here you will receive a varied assignment with the opportunity to develop in an organization where every effort makes a difference.
The Role of Nursing Assistant
As a nursing assistant at the oncology clinic's care unit, you will work with both oncology patients and individuals who are cared for in our palliative care spots. Our unit has 21 care places, of which 16 belong to oncology and five are palliative care spots where specialized home care (SSIH) has the medical responsibility.
You will work in a team alongside doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants based on a person-centered approach. You will, together with the responsible nurse, have nursing responsibility for a patient group of 5–6 patients per shift. The work is varied and involves both planned care interventions and situations that require flexibility, responsiveness, and the ability to prioritize.
We offer a permanent position with placement in the care unit, with a start date according to agreement. The working hours are scheduled during the day and evening, with shifts also on weekends as the care unit is open every day of the week.
