At the service center in Nogersund, we ensure that the Swedish Sea Rescue Society's fleet is always ready. We are now looking for a dedicated warehouse technician and property caretaker who wants to contribute to our continued development.
About us
The Swedish Sea Rescue Society is a non-profit organization with 73 rescue stations, over 270 rescue units, and approximately 2,500 volunteer rescuers. We are ready to respond around the clock – completely without government funding – with a clear goal: to save lives at sea.
About the job
You will be part of the service team within the maritime department and work from the service center in Nogersund. The team is responsible for service, maintenance, warehousing, logistics, and support to our rescue stations across the country.
Working hours: weekdays 07:00–16:00
Travel: may occur, but is normally limited
Job responsibilities
- In- and out-deliveries, orders, and inventory management
- Handling of refurbished components
- Support for rescue stations and shipyards
- Movement and sorting of rescue boats (land and sea)
- Maintenance and upkeep of property and machinery
- Participation in improvement and development work
We are looking for someone who
- Has a high school education and a B driver's license
- Has experience in warehousing/logistics and service work
- Is practically oriented with basic technical understanding
- Is used to working in digital systems
- Communicates well in Swedish and has basic English skills
Meritorious: BE or C driver's license, forklift license (A2/C1), experience with boats, experience as a volunteer rescuer, and Ship's Officer VIII or Engine Officer VIII. Lives in or geographically close to Nogersund.
