About the role

As a service assistant at Vardaga, you will handle the daily service related to the residents. This may involve cleaning residents' rooms, laundry management, unpacking goods, and working in the kitchen with cooking and serving breakfast/lunch/dinner.

About Villa Orrholmen The facility is located near the center of Karlstad and is surrounded by Lake Vänern. We have a total of 60 apartments distributed over three floors. Two floors have a total of 40 places for residents with dementia, and one floor has 20 places focused on somatic care. We are looking for summer substitutes in cleaning and kitchen in all our departments. • Dementia certification: We are a dementia-certified residence, which means that everyone who works here is trained in dementia and attitudes through the Dementia Academy. • Young Care: We have a collaboration with the company Young Care. This means that a team of young people aged 14-18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Young Care does various activities together with us who work here, to add a special touch to the lives of the residents. • Group managers: You have a manager close to you who spends part of their time working in the facility. This can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant.

Your experience and knowledge We guess that you who are applying to us: - are attracted to a job that is varied and requires great knowledge of care but also a talent for meeting people in different situations. - are a creative person who dares to think for themselves and take responsibility. - enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues.

We would like you to have experience in the service industry previously, but it is not a requirement. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a wish; otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and give you the opportunity to grow.
