The Stockholm Amphibious Regiment (Amf 1) operates where water meets land and serves as the link between naval and army combat forces. Fast combat boats and hovercraft make the unit highly mobile. Our weapon systems allow us to operate in four dimensions: on and below the water surface, in the air, and on land. Thus, we can exert control over coastal areas.
The unit trains amphibious soldiers, coastal rangers, sailors, and officers in various main services.
