Do you want a job where you can make a real difference?

In our service operations, the job is about more than disassembly and assembly; it’s about ensuring that our customers' trains keep running and contributing to safe transportation across Europe.

As part of our team, you will be an important link in a flow that affects thousands of passengers and freight transport. Here, you will have the opportunity to combine practical work with technical elements, develop your skills, and work in an environment where collaboration and responsibility are central values. If you appreciate taking responsibility, working together with others, and seeing concrete results from your work, then you are the right person for us at Knorr-Bremse.

We are now looking for Component Assemblers for our service operations in Lund. With us, you will learn how train braking systems are constructed and contribute to creating safe and sustainable transport solutions. You will work with disassembly, assembly, and final testing of brake components in various production lines.

The job requires you to be able to read blueprints and to be meticulous with a strong sense of quality. It is an advantage if you have experience in assembly and maintenance work, preferably in pneumatics or hydraulics, as well as if you have worked in teams before. Familiarity with torque applications and the use of Loctite adhesive is also desirable.

As a person, you are positive, flexible, and organized. You are motivated to learn new things and have good teamwork skills. You are not afraid to ask for support when needed and contribute your best to achieve production goals. We value service orientation, structure, and initiative, and we believe that you thrive in a team environment where everyone helps each other to achieve common results. At Knorr-Bremse, you will become part of a dedicated team where we value quality, collaboration, and development.

We offer a fixed-term employment for a longer project. We have a collective agreement with Teknikavtalet - IF Metall. There is public transport access to our operations in Lund. Additionally, you will receive wellness benefits, breakfast every morning, and great development opportunities. The work is scheduled during daytime, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of flexible hours.
