Your next challenge

As a Wood Buyer, you will be responsible for the contact and business with individual forest owners, to whom you offer advice and services that develop their forestry ownership. You are the forest owner's main contact person within your geographical wood buying area and are responsible for the entire business – from the first contact to the completed deal. An important part of your tasks is to proactively reach out to forest owners to find out their current and future needs for managing their forest. You will meet forest owners both in the forest and at the office, and some of the advice and business discussions will take place digitally.
The role of Wood Buyer is perfect for you who are motivated by combining relationships, business acumen, and a structured approach. Through your engagement and drive, you structure and plan your work to achieve your set goals.
The marketing function has just over a hundred employees, and your closest team consists of 10 wood buyers and a present, supportive manager. Here you get the chance to work independently while being part of an engaged and goal-oriented team.

Who are you?

We place great importance on your personal qualities. To be the right person for the position, you are goal-oriented, self-driven, and structured. You are interested in creating and nurturing relationships, you enjoy working proactively, and you work hard to achieve your set goals.
To succeed in the role of Wood Specialist, you need to have a genuine interest in forestry. You may own your own forest property, have a forestry education, or have worked in a professional role that involves forestry.
Furthermore, you possess the right personal qualities required in a sales role, you find it easy to collaborate, and it comes naturally to you to build trust and confidence with others as you see great value in creating and maintaining relationships. Working independently towards set goals motivates you, and you are rarely the one who gives up at the first setback!
You have a B driver's license (we provide a company car) and are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

The position is a permanent employment with placement in Umeå, Vännäs, Nordmaling, or Örnsköldsvik. Start date March 2026 or by agreement.
