At Anderstorps Mekaniska Verkstad AB (AMV), we are looking for an experienced CNC Setter who wants to take responsibility for our milling machines and become an important part of our continued development. This position is now open as one of our colleagues moves on in their career – and we are therefore looking for someone with good experience who can quickly become self-sufficient in production.

About the role:

As a CNC Setter, you will take full responsibility for the setup, operation, quality, and development of our milling machines. You will work with HAAS VF2 and VF4, and your first task will be to quickly familiarize yourself with the machines and ensure that production follows the plan.

You will also be an important part of our production development team, where you will contribute to the work with:

• Fixtures.
• Work methods.
• Programs and improvements.

We work with Monitor as our business system and use SolidWorks and CamWorks for drawing and CAM programming. Experience with these systems is not a requirement, but you need to understand the process and be willing to collaborate on technical improvements.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with experience as a CNC Setter, CNC Operator, or similar machining work. You are confident in reading drawings, accustomed to using measuring instruments, and have a strong sense of quality and detail. You work in a structured, responsible, and solution-oriented manner, and you thrive in a smaller organization where collaboration is close and freedom under responsibility is a given. Since this is an important position, we are looking for someone who wants to stay long-term, grow, and become part of our future production.

Meritorious

• Experience in setups and program adjustments for production efficiency.
• Knowledge of control systems such as Fanuc/Haas.
