Region Blekinge manages approximately 290,000 square meters of premises, where the property service department east is responsible for the operation of properties in the eastern part of the county.

We are now looking for an engaged and knowledgeable technician with a focus on mechanical work for our mechanical group in Karlskrona.

The Job

As a technician with us, you are a practical problem solver with a genuine interest in technology and the ability to deliver top-class service. You work both independently and in a team with repairs, supervision, and maintenance of property technical systems and installations. Within your area of responsibility, you also participate in the development of routines for supervision and maintenance.

Examples of tasks:

• Daily supervision of compressors for breathing and technical air. The work also includes ordering and handling of medical gases.
• Supervision and repair of door automation, fire doors, locking devices, patient beds, trolleys, and other aids.

About You

We are looking for someone with experience in property technical work or similar maintenance professions. You have a good technical understanding, practical skills, and enjoy varied tasks where problem-solving is a natural part of everyday life. You work meticulously, take responsibility, and have a clear service mindset.

You have a high school education with a technical focus or equivalent experience that is deemed comparable. We see that you have several years of experience in technical work.

A driving license (B) is a requirement. Knowledge of welding and machining is an advantage.

We are looking for someone with very good collaborative skills, who is creative and attentive, and can work both independently and in a group. The work requires precision and a goal-oriented approach. You are interested in developments in the field and have the ability to plan your work both in the short and long term. Personal suitability is highly valued.
