Luleå Diocese is strengthening its communication unit and is looking for a driven communicator to help develop our communicative support, internally within the diocesan organization and to the Church of Sweden's 55 parishes in Norrbotten and Västerbotten.

This challenge is something we want to tackle together with our parishes. We want the Church of Sweden's activities and mission to become more visible and known.

The Church of Sweden in Luleå diocese covers the entire counties of Norrbotten and Västerbotten. The diocesan organization aims to provide the best possible support to parishes and pastorates to contribute to a vibrant parish life.

Responsibilities

As a communicator, you will be part of the communication unit together with six colleagues. The unit is responsible for both strategic and operational communication work. Your tasks will include everything from print production, creating content for digital channels to planning and communication support for both parishes and the diocesan organization's own activities. You will work with graphic design, text editing, social media, web, print, and moving images, with a focus on graphic production.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with broad knowledge and several years of experience in the communication field, a “do-er”. You have a university degree in communication or equivalent that is deemed comparable.

You have excellent skills in Adobe CC and a sense of graphic design, web, print, and moving media. You have experience in producing target group-adapted content based on message, channel, and communication goals.

As a person, you are cooperative, flexible, and can quickly re-prioritize your daily work. You are service-oriented, structured, independent, and delivery-focused.

As the job involves travel, a B driver's license is a requirement for the position.
