Do you want a summer job where you meet people and do something that feels both important and rewarding? With us, you will work in activities where care and safety are in focus – whether you choose support for people with disabilities, social psychiatry, home care, elderly care, or personal assistance.

When you work in summer jobs within care and support, you will receive support from colleagues who want you to feel secure in both your tasks and working hours. To give you a really good start, we offer a unique, extended, and well-thought-out introductory training before you begin. There, you will gain both practical and theoretical knowledge, so you feel prepared and ready when your summer job starts.

Are you empathetic, warm, and engaged? Then this could be the right place for you. You contribute to others feeling secure and at the same time have the opportunity to learn new things together with experienced colleagues.

You choose when during the summer you want to work, but it is desirable that you work at least four consecutive weeks. We offer several possible periods, and you can also work both before and after the holiday period, which runs from June to August. We also have good opportunities to continue working even after the summer.

Personal Assistant

As a personal assistant, you are a close support in another person's daily life. You help with what the person cannot manage on their own, such as personal care, meals, exercise, or various activities.

Support for People with Disabilities

In support for people with disabilities, you assist individuals in developing their abilities and managing as much as possible on their own. You can work in group homes, service housing, short-term housing, or specialized housing, where some activities focus on social psychiatry. This may involve contact with relatives and assistance with everything from cooking to accompanying on activities such as swimming, walks, or a coffee break.

Elderly Care

In elderly care, you work with care and social activities for our elderly. Here, you can work in nursing homes or within home care. This may involve personal hygiene, meals, or community through gymnastics, bingo, or reading aloud – all of which make everyday life safe and fulfilling.

Qualifications

• It is desirable that you are at least 18 years old, but you can apply regardless of age. It is an advantage if you have training in care and support.
• A driving license (B) is an asset.
• You need to have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing as the tasks require it.
• We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
