Our goal is to enable individuals with activity and/or functional impairments to stay in their home environment as much as possible.

Rehabilitation includes occupational therapy, physiotherapy, day activities, assistive technology services, and housing adaptations.

As an assistive technology technician in Filipstad municipality, you will be part of a team consisting of one assistive technology technician, four occupational therapists, two physiotherapists, and four rehabilitation assistants. Responsibilities

An assistive technology technician is responsible for technical service, refurbishment, transport, and delivery of assistive devices, such as wheelchairs, walkers, beds, patient lifts, and hygiene aids used in our nursing homes and private homes. Administrative tasks also occur daily, such as registering, documenting, and ordering assistive devices in our operational system.

The daily work takes place in the assistive technology workshop but also during home visits in individuals' homes and in nursing homes. It is an independent job that requires precision and is partially planned in collaboration with other staff in Community Rehabilitation, but you also plan your work independently to a large extent.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least a high school education, preferably with a technical focus. Since documentation is a significant part of the job, you need to be proficient in the Swedish language in both spoken and written form and have good computer skills. You should have good communication skills and a strong enthusiasm for working with people. A driver's license is required, and personal suitability is highly valued. It is an advantage if you are a trained assistive technology technician.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, positive, attentive, meticulous, and able to work independently. To thrive in this role, you need to be technically interested and practically inclined. We value flexibility and engagement.

Conditions

The working hours are scheduled during daytime from Monday to Friday.
