We are now looking for a Press Brake Operator / Punch Operator for our client Qvantum in Åstorp. 
You will be part of a small team where you will be responsible for press braking of sheet metal details.

Job responsibilities include:

• Press braking
• Programming and setup
• Material handling
• Reading blueprints
• Measurement techniques

In this role, you will primarily work with press braking, while also being willing to step in where needed within the company and work alongside your colleagues. 

The job may also involve supplying automatic machines with materials, monitoring the processing, as well as operation and maintenance. High demands are placed on your accuracy, flexibility in your work, and your ability to follow instructions. 

As a person, you should be proactive, accustomed to working in an industrial environment, and enjoy getting things done. Our client operates in a changing environment, and changes will occur continuously.

We prefer that you have a background from the Industrial Program or previous experience as a press brake operator / punch operator. Great emphasis is placed on you as a person and your understanding of work in a manufacturing industry. 

Working hours Monday - Thursday 15:00 - 01:00
