Every day we have the opportunity to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers, and society. Together, we create the solutions of the future and contribute to utilizing the full potential of valuable resources. By acting powerfully, we challenge conventional thinking and develop world-leading technologies that contribute to progress in key areas such as energy, food, water, and shipping. As we move forward, the innovative and open spirit that builds our 140-year-old startup culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, while we shape a less wasteful world with more resources, we also build our personal development.

Alfa Laval offers a unique opportunity to become part of an innovative team where you can contribute to success and development. As an assembler, you have the chance to work in a stimulating environment focused on collaboration and high-quality solutions while making a difference every day. LA Large aims to be a world-class supplier of plate heat exchangers. We will provide our customers with products of the right quality, at the right time, and at a competitive price.

About the job

As an assembler within Large Assembly, you will participate in the production of our customized and more complex heat exchangers. Your responsibilities include participating in daily work, ensuring that results are achieved according to SOP, attending team meetings, contributing to process improvements and problem-solving, as well as handling administration and documentation. You will also be part of our production system ALPS where safety, quality, delivery reliability, and cost are key principles. In ALPS, you will be involved in the important work of improvements, 5S, and standardized work methods. It is therefore of utmost importance that you are interested in developing both yourself and our operations.

We are looking for several employees for this position, and the employment form will be agreed upon, as some positions are temporary while others are permanent. Working hours will be shift-based.

Here you will be employed directly by Alfa Laval, and Lernia will only handle the recruitment process.

Who are you?

As a person, you are responsible, meticulous, and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment. You are a customer-focused and quality-conscious team player who can also work independently and make your own decisions. Through your flexibility and service-mindedness, you see it as a given to help in other flows when needed. Your positive attitude gives you the courage to change and be involved in constantly challenging and improving our processes.

What can you do?

We are looking for someone with a genuine technical interest, good practical skills, and an aptitude for problem-solving. If you have experience in assembling heat exchangers and some technical education or similar, this is advantageous. We also see that you have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Experience is a plus, but your willingness to learn and commitment are the most important.

It is advantageous if you have:

  • Forklift license A+B
  • Crane
  • Elevator
  • Driver's license (at least AM category)

We offer you

Alfa Laval offers you a challenging position in an international, open, and friendly climate where we help each other to develop and create value for our customers.

As part of our team, you thrive in a diverse workplace where you can influence. You are here to make a difference. We are constantly building bridges to the future with sustainable solutions that impact our planet's most urgent problems. We make the world a little better. Every day.
