Your role As a Security Engineer, you will design, implement, and further develop secure network and platform solutions. You combine technical craftsmanship with a consultative approach and help clients make the right choices in architecture, processes, and priorities.

Examples of tasks

• Network security architecture and design; segmentation, Zero Trust, Secure Access, SASE/SSE
• Cloud and hybrid environments: secure network architecture in AWS/Azure/GCP
• Hardening and auditing: configuration and policy reviews, cleaning/tuning of e.g., firewall rules
• Logging and monitoring: network and firewall logs
• Advisory and change management: workshops, roadmaps, decision support, documentation, and knowledge transfer

Your profile

• Deep technical expertise in networking and security
• Extensive experience with firewall and network security platforms (e.g., Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper)
• Familiarity with network security in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and secure connectivity in hybrid environments
• Ability to lead technical work in customer environments: feasibility studies, design decisions, implementation, and knowledge transfer
• Good communication skills, curiosity, and self-drive — you simplify complexity and build trust
• Preferred: certifications such as CCNP Security/PCNSE/NSE/JNCIS‑SEC, CISSP, GIAC (e.g., GCIA/GCIH)

Practical

• As this position requires us to work with clients, which means you need to undergo security vetting, we require Swedish citizenship. Fluency in both English and Swedish is a must.
