Who you are:

We are looking for someone who can quickly grasp and deliver news with a focus on video. You have a strong creative process, want to engage the audience, and thrive on switching between planned journalism and faster news coverage.

Must-haves:

• Journalism education or experience that we assess as equivalent
• Experience working in a news editorial
• Driver's license for passenger car

Meritorious:

• Experience in moving image storytelling and video editing

What the position entails:

We are now looking for a reporter for a permanent position starting in February 2026. Additionally, we are seeking substitutes, both for the summer and already during the spring.

As a reporter for SVT's local news, you master all aspects from idea development and research, through writing, filming, and editing, to online packaging and publishing on our digital platforms. The position includes morning and evening shifts, as well as weekend work. The newsroom employs around ten reporters and editors, and SVT News Blekinge also has a local office in Karlshamn.
