JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a nursing student in your 4th or 5th semester in the spring of 2026? Then take the chance to work as a health and care assistant in one of our nursing teams this summer. You will work closely with experienced nurses, which will be valuable and developing for your future work as a nurse or care assistant with health and medical tasks.

The role of a health and care assistant means that you are placed in a nursing team and perform delegated tasks such as wound dressings, sampling, simpler medication distributions, and more. We work in teams together with other professionals such as care assistants, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, case managers, and unit managers.

You will meet people in their home environment and in various care and support residences, or within LSS/social psychiatry. We always start from each individual's needs and possibilities, which means that we work with individualized health and medical care.

Before the summer, you will receive training and support through the municipality's Competence Center to safely receive your delegations, and an introduction to the work team is also included.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are currently studying in the nursing program at a university or college in your 4th or 5th semester in the spring of 2026, or who is an experienced care assistant.

The work requires the ability to work both independently and in a group.

As a person, you are structured and can prioritize your work. You are positive, flexible, and have an efficient working method. You are a team player who contributes to a positive climate in the team.

It is an advantage if you have experience working in healthcare and/or elderly care, psychiatry, and LSS. A driver's license is a requirement.
