The Technology and Property Management Department delivers internal services so that our colleagues in other operations can focus on their core activities. We are responsible for the operation and development of public land and issue permits so that the municipal group and businesses can conduct their operations. We also ensure that children, students, and care recipients receive good and nutritious food and that the municipality's premises are well-maintained and suitable for their purpose.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a summer substitute, you will primarily work to keep our parks, public spaces, and beaches clean and orderly. You will work in teams and may be placed in a district with one to three colleagues. You will have a vehicle and work independently throughout the day. You will start from central Kalmar or from a district. Some tasks may be more individual.

Common tasks include cleaning, such as emptying trash bins, litter picking, as well as other maintenance and landscaping tasks such as weeding, beach maintenance, trimming, and mowing.

Weekend scheduling may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

The job requires good collaboration skills and strong social abilities. You should be responsible, meticulous, and service-oriented. You must be able to understand and follow instructions and delegations in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Flexibility, accountability, good customer service, creativity, and strong collaboration skills are qualities we value in you.

Previous similar experience is an advantage.

A valid driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle is a requirement.
