Lifeguard with responsibility for cleaning sought for Strängnäs swimming hall

Do you want to help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in Strängnäs' new swimming hall? We are looking for a flexible, positive, and dedicated lifeguard responsible for cleaning in our beautiful hall.

You will be part of the Swimming Facilities Unit in Strängnäs municipality – an engaged team that is now facing an exciting development as the new swimming hall takes shape. Together, we are building an operation that will become a natural meeting place for movement, health, and community for the municipality's residents.

With us, there is a strong team spirit and a culture where we help each other, laugh a lot, and have close cooperation and care. We believe in joy at work, pride, and responsibility – and with us, every employee has a unique responsibility for their area while always working towards common goals. Together, we create a modern, sustainable, and welcoming facility where both visitors and staff thrive.

We are now looking for a lifeguard responsible for cleaning at the swimming hall. The position is a temporary contract until August 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension.

Your main placement will be at Larslunda swimming hall, but you may also need to work at Åkersbadet if necessary. Your regular working hours are from 05:30 to 14:00, but may occasionally include weekends and holidays.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a lifeguard responsible for cleaning, you play a central role in creating a pleasant, safe, and well-maintained environment in our new swimming hall. Your mission involves both participating in daily cleaning tasks and leading, planning, and developing the cleaning operation. A typical day often starts with you reviewing the facility, checking cleaning machines and materials, and planning the day's efforts. You are responsible for ensuring that the cleaning schedule is followed, that the premises maintain a high standard, and that the right resources are in place. During the day, you also actively participate in the cleaning.

You will have ongoing contact with colleagues and interns, and support individuals from schools and LSS activities who are doing internships with us. An important part of your work is to create a safe, positive, and learning environment for them as well. In addition to cleaning, you assist in the daily operations of the swimming hall, for example, by welcoming visitors, contributing to safety and comfort, and covering for your colleagues in other areas of work where needed.

This is a practical and varied job where you get to use both your attention to detail, leadership, and service engagement every day.
