About the position

We are now looking for a flavor-savvy chef for our Production Kitchen Sätrahöjden in Gävle. The position is a temporary contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.

In the production kitchen, approximately 8000 lunch portions are prepared daily, delivered to schools/preschools and meal boxes for home dining.

We are looking for someone who cooks with heart, is good at creating flavors, works in a structured and independent manner, is environmentally conscious, and easily shares their passion and joy for work with colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare fantastic food
• Ensure that rules, routines, and policies are followed
• Participate in the HACCP self-control according to routines
• Contribute to minimizing food waste
• Maintain good order in the kitchen

Qualifications:

• You have relevant culinary education and experience from restaurant kitchens or large-scale kitchens
• You have good knowledge of special diets
• You have a structured and organized working style and can easily communicate and collaborate with other staff
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

Working hours:

The position is full-time, daytime, and you will work every 4th weekend.
