Bilfinger Maintenance Sweden is one of five business areas within Bilfinger Engineering & Maintenance Nordics AB, focusing on the maintenance of industrial facilities. Bilfinger Maintenance currently has over 300 employees and operates from Helsingborg in the south to Gävle in the north.

About the Role

As a Machinist, you will be part of the team ensuring that Bilfinger's clients' facilities operate as they should, avoiding unplanned factory shutdowns, and performing service, repairs, and project work. Your tasks will include preventive and corrective maintenance at Bilfinger's client in Helsingborg, Kemira AB, as well as participating in renovations and new installations. Work will be conducted both in the process facility and in the area's workshops.

Your tasks will also involve supporting the operations with ongoing machine maintenance, repair, and processing of mechanical spare parts. You will handle both planned maintenance and more urgent tasks based on production needs and status. This involves producing customizable spare parts, such as mechanical shafts, pump kits, and valves, through turning and milling. You will work from drawings with various angles and manual settings with different speeds of the machines for turning and milling. The role involves varied work with frequent changes.

Main Responsibilities:

- Setting up and adjusting manual machines

- Turning & Milling of various customized mechanical spare parts with manual machines

- Participation in renovations and new installations.

- Planning and preparation of upcoming jobs during production

- Potential installation and assembly work as needed

- Preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical machines and spare parts

About You

You are a person with some years of experience in maintenance and repair work, and you are proactive, independent, and have good teamwork skills. You need to have a good understanding of manual work with lathes for producing mechanical spare parts. It does not have to have been your primary job, but it is required that you have performed these tasks and have a good understanding of technical drawings that allow you to produce customized mechanical machine parts. Experience with milling, welding, and general mechanical work is advantageous!

To thrive in this position, you also need to be proactive and have a good ability to work independently. The position involves a lot of customer contact, so it is important that you have good teamwork skills and feel confident in your communication abilities. Since the work is performed in the process industry, it is also important that you work in an analytical, meticulous, and risk-aware manner. It is an advantage if you enjoy challenges and problem-solving.

To succeed in the role, we believe you have:

- Good understanding of technical drawings and measurement techniques

- Good understanding of manual turning of mechanical parts

- Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair work

- Ability to work independently as well as good teamwork skills

- Familiarity with taking responsibility and working with varying frequent changes.

Additionally, the following is required:

-       Experience in industrial maintenance and repair work

-       Good computer skills

-       B driver's license

-       Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written

Desirable:

- Knowledge of bearings and seals

- Experience with repairing pumps, fans, and electric motors

- Welding skills

Salary: By agreement

Employment type: Consulting assignment via Emploid for 6 months, with the possibility of extension and takeover by the client.
