Logistics Staff for the Swedish Armed Forces

About the Unit
The Swedish Armed Forces' Telecommunications and Information Systems Command, FMTIS, has the main task of managing the operation and maintenance of command support systems at all levels of readiness, both nationally and internationally. The unit you will belong to is led from Örebro, but the work is located in Stockholm.
Main Responsibilities
As a logistics staff member, you will support the unit with services in warehouse and goods handling, orders, mail management, and by carrying out transportation of materials, supplies, and goods.
The tasks include, among others;
- Carrying out transportation and delivery of materials, supplies, and shipments
- Handling of materials
- Receiving goods, materials, and supplies and storing them
- Inventory and reporting of materials and supplies
- Participating in training to manage existing material systems

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Approved high school education
- Swedish citizenship
- Driving license B - C
- Good ability to express oneself in speech and writing
- Experience in logistics, supply services, or transport services within the Armed Forces or another authority
DESIRABLE
- Completed military service, GMU, or voluntary activities
- Previously employed in the Armed Forces within the logistics function
- Driving license CE
- Military driver's license Heavy Truck with trailer
- ADR Basic & Class 1

Employment form: Permanent. The Swedish Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not employed by the authority.
Employment rate: Full-time.
The position is civilian.
Work location: Stockholm. Travel may occur, as well as work at irregular hours.
Start date and salary according to agreement.
