Workshop Technician at Burckhardt Compressions

Location: Landvetter Position: Full-time Start: By agreement

About the Role

We are now looking for a meticulous and experienced workshop technician for Burckhardt Compressions' mechanical workshop. You will work with rotating metal machining, manufacturing, repairing, and maintaining components for their compressor systems, as well as contributing to an efficient flow in production.

The work is varied and includes both practical tasks in the workshop and travel within Sweden and Europe.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Metal machining and mechanical workshop work
• Rotating machining with lathe (you should be skilled in this area)
• Welding and assembly of components
• Maintenance and repair of workshop equipment
• Documentation and reporting via computer (requires general computer skills)
• Participate in installations and service at customer sites

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is practical, meticulous, and has broad workshop competence. You thrive in a technical environment, are responsible, and have an eye for detail and quality.

• Experience in metal machining and mechanical workshop work
• Very good knowledge of turning / rotating machining
• Welding skills (certification is an advantage)
• Forklift license
• Driving license B
• General computer skills
• Proficient in Swedish and English in both spoken and written form
• Willingness and ability to travel within Sweden and Europe
