We are currently looking for an Assembler/Production Worker for our client just outside Gothenburg!

Our client is involved in the rental and sale of containers, custom-produced and tailored container solutions, as well as terminal operations.

The position is based during daytime hours, 07:00–15:30. Selection is ongoing, meaning the position may be filled before the application deadline expires.

About the Position

As an assembler with our client, you will work on the assembly, renovation, and completion of large modular solutions made from shipping containers. The job involves tasks such as welding, cutting, and grinding, and entails significant physical work. You must have experience in welding (MIG/MAG/TIG) and be able to perform both rough welding and fine welding. Since much of the information and instructions are delivered via terminals, some computer literacy is a plus.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Assembly and completion of modular solutions
  • Welding, cutting, and grinding of steel and sheet metal
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documentation
  • Handling various tools and machinery

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone with previous experience in construction, assembly, and/or manufacturing of large products. You should have knowledge of welding and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. It is an advantage if you can handle various types of tools, such as cutting, grinding, and welding equipment. You are a structured and orderly person with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and quality. You have a willingness to contribute to the development and optimization of work methods and the ability to take your own initiatives.

Requirements for the Position:

  • Previous experience in assembly, construction, and manufacturing (preferably of large products)
  • Knowledge of welding (MIG/MAG/TIG) as well as sheet metal and steel work
  • Ability to handle various types of tools (cutting, welding, grinding)
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical documentation
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English
