Professional Galaxy is looking for someone to join a team that implements a new system to monitor, manage, and update the handling of external software as well as how we manage the IT security requirements that apply to our development environment used within the organization. This development takes place in an agile team, and it is in this area that we now need to grow with an experienced software developer with a background in IT security and several years of experience who is interested in driving the development of a new system and meeting IT security requirements.

In this role, you will:

• Develop software according to the client's applicable guidelines and practices.

• Contribute to solving HOW a function should look and be implemented.

• Work on new development, improvements, and bug fixing.

• Perform code reviews and write unit tests.

• Use tools to visualize data

• Share your knowledge and experience, both within and outside the team.

• Contribute to a well-functioning team with a positive attitude.

Your profile

 To succeed in this role, you are a person with several years of development experience, preferably in Golang, Python, Java, and Camunda. We would like you to have worked with microservices and similar solutions. It is also an advantage if you have knowledge of mocking and some testing frameworks. But above all, you are a social person who enjoys working together with others, acting as a mentor to more junior individuals and has a good ability to communicate in both spoken and written Swedish as well as English.

We consider it a merit if you have experience leading a team of software developers

You are a person who:

• Has several years of experience in the role of a developer with a background in CyberSecurity

• Preferably has worked on developing software architecture for a new system

• Is passionate about developing secure and well-functioning software

• Has knowledge of git, Jenkins, and/or similar CI setups

• Is a university/civil engineer or has equivalent work experience.

• Has a good ability to express yourself in both spoken and written Swedish and English.

We are looking for a new employee who preferably has several years of work experience.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where the Client has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
