Tantum is a family-owned company with roots in fine old craftsmanship traditions. The carpentry started back in 1973. Nowadays, our famous Tantum interiors make up the majority of our production and can be found in care homes, schools, and other demanding environments across the Nordic region. Another important part of our business is contract manufacturing in large and small series for the automotive industry, boat industry, and construction materials sector. While we have craftsmanship in our genes, we also utilize the latest technology, with robot-equipped CNC machines and presses for precision gluing of cabinet frames. In our production facility, we manufacture and assemble kitchen furnishings for public environments as well as contract manufacturing for the automotive and boat industries. Tantum AB in Malmö needs to expand its production with an additional new colleague, a self-driven and versatile assembler with experience and familiarity with wood materials after the turn of the year.

Job Responsibilities

You will independently perform carpentry and assembly work within production based on provided drawings using equipment such as table routers, planers, and miter saws. We believe that you, as a person, enjoy work with variety and constant challenges.

To fit in, the following is required:

• Preferably experience or education as an assembler, carpenter in wood production/industry.
• Familiarity with machinery from the wood industry/carpentry
• Good knowledge of reading technical drawings
• Good tool skills (screwing, sawing/cutting, milling, drilling, etc.)
• Ability to work independently but also in a team
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Computer skills
• CNC experience/training is an advantage
• Forklift license is an advantage

Note! We are not looking for construction carpenters with a vocational certificate.

You are responsible and driven with a forward-thinking attitude. Organized and meticulous to ensure the quality of the final product as well as logical thinking. You have good social skills as it is important to fit into the group and collaborate with others. We place great emphasis on your interest and attitude.

Work Location & Hours

The work takes place at Tantum's facility in Malmö. Working hours are Monday to Thursday (6:30 AM - 4:05 PM) and Fridays (6:30 AM - 12:30 PM). Collective agreement GS.

Start date is in January 2026, week 2.

This is a so-called temp-to-perm recruitment where our client collaborates with us at Ny Kollega. After the rental period (usually about 6 months), the person we are looking for will be employed by our client company.
