Responsibilities – Robot Operator in Industrial Automation and Production

• Monitor, control, and operate welding robots and other automated machine systems according to given instructions and production plans.
• Load and unload materials and start, stop, and adjust robot cells as needed to ensure a smooth production flow.
• Perform basic programming and parameterization of robots and machines to adapt production to different tasks.
• Conduct quality checks, visual inspections, and measurements of finished components according to applicable requirements and instructions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational disturbances, and collaborate with maintenance technicians for more advanced issues.
• Actively participate in improvement efforts regarding safety, work environment, and production efficiency.
• Maintain order around machines and workstations and perform cleaning and basic maintenance of the equipment.
• Work in a team with planning, material handling, and development of work processes for increased quality and product safety.

Requirements and Qualifications for Robot Operator in Swedish Industry

• Technical understanding and interest in machines, automation, or industrial production – relevant experience is advantageous, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are most important.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, usually in Swedish.
• Basic computer skills and interest in technology and programming.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both written and spoken.
• Experience in similar work, such as machine operator or work in the industry, is seen as beneficial.
• Education in automation, production, technology, or industry is advantageous.
