Stockholm City Mission operates several businesses in the form of social enterprises aimed at helping people approach the labor market. Second hand is run as a social enterprise, making a significant societal and climate contribution by creating jobs and collecting clothes/items. In our collection center, items and textiles are sorted, valued, and transported to our 24 stores.

We are now looking for two production assistants with an interest in items and clothing!

The production unit is a very important department for the overall functioning of our operations. All donations made to us pass through this unit before being distributed to the stores and finally reaching our customers. As a production assistant, your task will be to quickly and safely sort, value, and pack incoming donations. You may also work with order picking and distribution or other delivery tasks.

The positions are temporary contracts at 100% and extend until the end of August 2025. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 07:35 to 16:20.

We are looking for someone with a broad and genuine interest in second hand – both clothing and items. You should enjoy a fast-paced and physical job where we work together as a team. We value inquisitive and proactive employees! You must be at least 18 years old.

To thrive in this role, you need to be a team player who is flexible, driven, self-sufficient, and structured. The work is physically demanding and requires you to switch pace without losing focus.

As a team member, we are looking for someone who:

• speaks and understands Swedish
• has good physical fitness
• is a social person who enjoys working in a group
• has insight and understanding of people's differences
