Professionals Nord is looking for a technically interested employee with an engineering degree in mechanics for a leading technology company in Västerås. The assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant for our client.

Our client is a globally leading technology company in automation, power, and process solutions. The company develops and delivers innovative systems and services for industry, energy, and infrastructure, offering exciting opportunities to work with both technology, process development, and technical solutions in an international environment. As an employee, you will be an important part of maintaining and developing the company's technical documentation. You will work with case management, update documentation, clear and organize information in systems, and prepare materials for technical documents. You will work closely with skilled engineers and actively contribute to the team's success.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical cases and prepare documentation materials
• Update and maintain documentation in systems
• Clear and organize information in existing databases and PLM systems
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the team's success

We are looking for someone who

• Has a background/education in mechanics
• Can read and understand drawings and work in Creo or Autocad
• Has experience with PLM systems, e.g., Windchill, is an advantage
• Is a practical doer who enjoys problem-solving and takes initiative
• Is unpretentious and enjoys contributing where needed
• Has good communication skills in Swedish and English
• Can work independently but also in a team
