We are now looking for an experienced welder for a reputable production facility in Åstorp. If you enjoy working practically, have good technical understanding, and want to be an important part of the manufacturing process, you will thrive here.

As a welder, you will work with manufacturing, assembly, and welding of metal components according to drawings. The work is done in close collaboration with your colleagues in production and requires both precision, quality thinking, and good teamwork skills.

Position/Duration

Ongoing / Full-time

Working hours

Daytime, 07:00–16:00

Responsibilities

• Welding of details and components in steel (MIG/TIG/MAG depending on the task)
• Preparatory work such as grinding, cutting, and fitting of materials
• Assembly according to drawings
• Quality control of own welds
• Basic maintenance of welding equipment
• Support other parts of production when needed

Requirements

• Several years of experience in welding work within industry/manufacturing
• Knowledge of reading technical drawings
• Technical interest and good understanding of metal processing
• Strong self-drive and attention to detail in work
• Swedish spoken and written

Meritorious

• Welding licenses (MIG/MAG/TIG)
• Experience with sheet metal or steel constructions
• Driver's license and access to a car
• Forklift license (meritorious but not required)

The job requires good physical condition and that you enjoy an environment where you stand and move a lot during the workday.

A driver's license and access to a car are required for travel to and from the workplace.
