We are now looking for an experienced stamping operator for a well-established production facility in Åstorp. If you have experience in sheet metal processing, machine operation, and enjoy working in a practical and technical environment, you will be a perfect fit for the role.

As a stamping operator, you will work with mechanical stamping of sheet metal as well as handling materials and equipment. The job requires attention to detail, technical interest, and the ability to make simple adjustments and maintenance on machines. You will be an important part of the production team and contribute to maintaining high quality in the manufacturing process.

Working Hours

Evening: Monday-Thursday 15:00-01:00

Job Responsibilities

• Stamping and processing of sheet metal according to drawings
• Machine settings and tool changes
• Control measurements and quality control of produced parts
• Material handling and monitoring of production
• Basic maintenance and troubleshooting of machines
• Support other parts of production when needed

Requirements

• Several years of experience in mechanical work within stamping, press brake, or sheet metal processing
• Good technical understanding and interest in machines
• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Attention to detail and responsibility
• Swedish spoken and written

Meritorious

• Experience in programming stamping machines (e.g., Trumpf, Amada, Finn-Power)
• Driver's license and access to a car
• Forklift license (meritorious but not required)

The job requires good physical condition and that you enjoy an active environment where you stand and move for most of the day.

A driver's license and access to a car are required for travel to and from the workplace.
