About the position

As a senior vehicle painter with team leader responsibility at Daimler Buses in Vetlanda, you will play a central role in the painting operations. You will lead and coordinate the daily work in the painting group, ensure that the work follows timelines and quality requirements, and act as support and mentor for your colleagues, without formal personnel responsibility.

Your work includes, among other things:

• Planning and coordinating tasks in the painting group.
• Ensuring that quality and timelines are maintained.
• Performing wet painting, repair painting, and color matching on new and used buses.
• Preparing surfaces through sanding, masking, and priming.
• Supporting and guiding colleagues in work methods and routines.
• Contributing to the development of workflows and processes within the painting department.

We are looking for someone who

We are looking for someone with solid experience in vehicle painting and who enjoys coordinating and supporting colleagues in their daily work. You have a technical eye for detail, are structured and flexible in your approach, and appreciate sharing your expertise.

We would like you to have:

• Several years of experience in wet painting on heavy vehicles, preferably buses or trucks.
• Experience in repair painting and advanced color matching.
• Previous experience in team leadership or coordination in a workshop environment is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to collaborate.
• Vocational training in painting or equivalent knowledge through work experience.
• Driver's license B.
• Fluent Swedish - spoken and written.
