About the Role

We are looking for an operational and business-oriented Construction Manager who will take overall responsibility for developing the project operations within Region South.

As a Construction Manager, you will work to strengthen project management, enhance the skills in finance and entrepreneurship among our project managers and site managers, and implement new digital tools and working methods.

The role of Construction Manager will also have the function of Deputy CEO, provided that the right profile is found. There may also be opportunities to take on other CEO roles within the group directly or in the long term. The role reports to CEO Amanda Glave and will have a very close collaboration with her.

You will have personnel responsibility for two estimators.

The role will be based at one of the facilities in Kristianstad or Helsingborg, depending on the candidate's place of residence.

• Conduct monthly follow-ups with project managers and site managers
• Lead estimation and bidding meetings, with the authority to sign offers and enter into contracts
• Support in contractual matters, ensuring that projects are conducted according to applicable agreements
• Drive operational work to enhance entrepreneurship, cost awareness, and contract knowledge within the organization
• Ensure and implement routines for project management, follow-up, and reporting
• Work on identifying waste and inefficiency in operations
• Ensure that our working methods are effective, legal, and user-friendly
• Support efforts in environmental, work environment, and risk management – focusing on simplification, compliance, and follow-up

Professional Skills

• Engineer or equivalent academic degree
• Strong operational leader with experience in construction operations
• Solid understanding of financial follow-up in projects
• Ability to coach and educate others in both technical tools and business acumen
• Understanding of work environment, environment, and risk in construction projects
• Basic knowledge of LOU

Desirable Courses/Trainings

• Basic work environment training, BAM or equivalent
• Construction environmental training, basic course BAS-P/U
• Basic environmental training within the industry
• Leadership training
