Do you want a varied and technical job where you become a key person in the production of asphalt? As a plant operator at Svevia, you will be part of an engaged team that operates one of our asphalt plants. We are now looking for our next plant operator for the Industry division and our manufacturing operations in Tälle, Örebro.

You will work in a process-controlled system from the control room and be responsible for receiving customer orders, controlling and monitoring asphalt production, and ensuring that the right materials and quantities are produced. You will also work practically by feeding the plant with aggregates via a wheel loader, performing daily maintenance and minor repairs, and participating in troubleshooting and improvement work.

The work is seasonal with varying working hours and pace. During the winter months, the focus is on repairs and improvements.

We are looking for someone who is practical, handy, and enjoys taking responsibility. You are good at collaborating but are also self-driven and take your own initiatives when needed. You thrive in a varied work environment where no day is the same, and you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves when required. You maintain a calm and solution-focused approach even when the pace is high, and you have the ability to structure and prioritize incoming orders effectively. Your planning skills and drive make a difference – both for the team and for our customers. To succeed in this role, we see it as a requirement that you have:

• Experience working with computers
• Class B driver's license
• A strong interest in seasonal work

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Previous experience as a plant operator and/or in asphalt production
• Repair skills, e.g., experience in welding
• Experience in heavy industry, process industry, or similar
• Certification to operate a wheel loader

Other:

• Location: Tälle, Örebro (work at other plants may occur)
• Permanent employment, full-time
• Start date according to agreement
