The Assistive Technology Services are responsible for the operation of assistive technology for people with mobility impairments in the southern part of Stockholm County, as well as county-wide responsibility for individuals in need of consumable aids at home, medical technology equipment at home, and communication, cognition, vision, and hearing aids.

Job Description

In the Warehouse and Transport unit within the Assistive Technology Services, about 30 people handle approximately 56,000 assistive device orders and deliveries each year.

For this position, we are looking for flexible individuals who enjoy variety. Some days you will deliver assistive devices to patients or caregivers. You will have a great deal of freedom under responsibility and work independently throughout Stockholm County. Other days you will work on-site in our facilities and be part of a team handling goods receipt, picking, and other tasks in our warehouse. The specific task will often be determined in advance, but may sometimes change in the morning based on operational needs!

Qualifications

• Driver's license class B. Experienced driver with good local knowledge of Stockholm County.
• Proficient user of IT systems for warehousing or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.
• Excellent collaboration skills, meticulous and structured. Enjoys working physically as we walk and stand for most of the day. Willing and able to actively work on work-related improvements. Flexible, as tasks may vary from day to day.
• Experience in leadership and advanced knowledge in logistics is an advantage.

Our facilities are located in Fruängen/Älvsjö, the nearest subway station is Fruängen.

• employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment medical examination, according to applicable directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
• in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
