Do you want to help create a clean and pleasant environment for thousands of travelers every day? Do you like to see quick results from your work? Then you might be the one we are looking for! We are now seeking flexible and dedicated staff for vehicle cleaning of our commuter trains – a perfect part-time job for you who are studying or have another occupation and want to work as needed.

Your upcoming role

As a cleaner in vehicle cleaning, you will work to keep our trains clean and welcoming before each departure. You will be an important part of a team working at one of our three depots: Södertälje, Älvsjö, or Bro.

Your tasks include:

• Cleaning the interior of the trains (floors, seats, etc.)
• Exterior washing of trains
• Depot cleaning
• Reporting deficiencies and deviations

Before you start working, you will undergo a mandatory introductory training where you will learn about safety procedures and the work environment. Since the work takes place in a track environment, it is important that you have a natural safety mindset and follow the guidelines that apply – both for your own and others' safety. The work is scheduled and may involve early mornings, late evenings, nights, and weekend work, so it is important that you can get to and from work on your own, regardless of the time of day.

Expectations for the candidate we are looking for

We are looking for someone who:

• Is meticulous, responsible, and flexible
• Has good teamwork skills and enjoys physical work
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Can work as needed, sometimes with short notice

Meritorious:

• Experience in cleaning
• Class B driver's license
• Experience working in public environments

What is SJ Stockholmståg AB?

SJ Stockholmståg (SJP) is a subsidiary of SJ AB and has had total responsibility for commuter trains since March 3, 2024; traffic, maintenance, and service. The commuter train traffic is an important artery for many residents in the Stockholm region. On a typical Tuesday, over 340,000 people travel with the commuter trains in Stockholm, and as the city grows, it is our responsibility to offer the opportunity to travel sustainably.
