About Us

Rosengren & Nilsson Group was founded in 2021 through the merger of two well-established foundries: Rosengrens Metallgjuteri (founded in 1909) and Vetlanda Gjuteri (founded in 2001). Together, we combine more than a century of craftsmanship tradition with modern expertise in metal casting.

In our foundry in Vetlanda, we work with everything from industrial companies and workshops to municipalities and construction companies. Here, we primarily manufacture technical components and special details in bronze and aluminum, often in small series or as unique orders.

The work is characterized by precision, craftsmanship, and great variation – each project has its own challenges and requires both experience and commitment.

About the Position

We are now looking for a skilled and meticulous sand molder/grinder who wants to be part of our team in Vetlanda. You will work both at the beginning and the end of our manufacturing chain – from shaping sand molds for casting to grinding and finishing our products in bronze and aluminum.

The work is both practically and technically challenging and requires accuracy, patience, and a sense of detail. As our projects vary greatly, the job is both diverse and developmental.

Your Responsibilities

• Produce and process sand molds for casting.
• Grinding, polishing, and detailing raw cast metal objects.
• Drilling, chiseling, and other mechanical processing.
• Patination and surface treatment to create the right color and finish.
• Participate in the casting process as needed.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and other craftsmen in production.
• Welding may occur if you have experience (not a requirement).

We are looking for someone who has

• Experience in sand molding and/or metal processing.
• Good craftsmanship skills and a sense of form, detail, and precision.
• The ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Accuracy, patience, and a desire to develop in your profession.
• Welding skills are an advantage but not a requirement.
