Northern Military Region Västerbotten Group

The Västerbotten Group in Umeå is part of the Northern Military Region. At the Västerbotten Group, we offer a flexible job where you have a great opportunity to influence your work. Main Responsibilities

• Plan and lead the execution of refresher training within the home guard company
• Plan and conduct combat training with live ammunition for group, platoon, and company
• Plan and lead the execution of functional and position training
• Mentorship for a home guard company
• Hold mentorship and be responsible for the execution of training plans for a home guard company
• Be the contact person for the assigned voluntary defense organization

Meritorious

• Experience in company command (combat position)
• Trained instructor FUSA
• Formal instructor qualification for support weapons (Ksp58, GRG, P-skott, PSG 90)
• Formal instructor qualification for security guard, dog service, medical service
• Vehicle or tracked vehicle instructor

Other

Employment type: Permanent. The Swedish Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not already employed by the agency.
Employment rate: Full-time.
Work location: Umeå.
Military position.
The position may involve deployment to another location for a shorter part of the year.
Start date according to agreement.

The Northern Military Region (MR N) is responsible for land territorial management in the four northern counties.

The region consists of a staff and five training groups. The operations extend from Kiruna in the north to Härnösand in the south. MR N has seven home guard battalions and several support functions.
