About the role as Educator in Maintenance Technology

Do you want to contribute to the future competence in maintenance technology? At TeknikAkademin, we are looking for you with a background in maintenance and industry who wants to share your knowledge. You will teach and inspire students in maintenance technology, focusing on both theory and practice related to today’s industrial sector.

Responsibilities in education, maintenance, and technology

• Plan, develop, and conduct teaching in modern maintenance technology
• Design laboratories and exercises for practical and digital learning
• Develop course materials and pedagogical models in consultation with the industry
• Guide, mentor, and support course participants through their educational journey
• Follow developments in the maintenance industry and integrate new technology/methodology

Qualifications and experience – Maintenance, Industry, Technology

• Background in maintenance, mechanical engineering, production, operations, or similar industrial field
• You may be a trained engineer, maintenance technician, or experienced specialist from the industry
• Ability to convey knowledge pedagogically – teaching experience is an advantage but not a requirement
• Good communication skills in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Structured, engaged, and interested in developing others

Desirable competencies in maintenance technology

• Knowledge of TPM, LEAN, condition-based maintenance, and digital maintenance systems (e.g., CMMS)
• Experience in root cause analysis, risk assessments, optimization of maintenance processes
• Understanding of work environment, safety, and quality in maintenance work
• Interest in sustainability, energy efficiency, and new technology in maintenance
