Our extrusion line in Karlskrona needs to strengthen its team and is now looking for machine operators who want to work for a global company and contribute to the green transition.
Shift work with problem-solving and a strong focus on quality and safety
As a machine operator, you will handle all work tasks within your area of responsibility – from preparation, setting up for upcoming production to execution and follow-up. Together with your team, you will ensure that production flows as planned and maintain quality at every step. You enjoy adjusting and fixing things when necessary, as well as facing problems that need to be solved quickly. Safety is our number one priority and permeates everything we do.
The work will be conducted in a 5-shift system, which means varied working hours including days, nights, and weekends.
Your main tasks will include:
- Preparation and setup of machines and equipment
- Monitoring operations
- Quality work
- Material handling
- Collaboration with other shifts and support departments such as production technology, quality, and project departments
Curious, responsible, and meticulous
To thrive with us, you should be curious, responsible, and have an interest in developing according to set goals. The job requires that you, as a machine operator, have the ability to follow given instructions and document completed work according to applicable procedures. Structure and precision characterize your work, while discipline and adaptability align with your traits. A large part of the tasks are manual, which requires you to be technically skilled and meticulous in your work. To enjoy the role, you should be comfortable handling changes at short notice and thrive in both team and independent work environments.
In addition to the above, you should have the following experiences:
- Technical background, at high school level or higher education
- Several years of experience working in the industry
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
