About the role as an Operator at Jakobsdals

You are offered an educational job in the food industry at a family-owned company that has shown love for the craft for three generations. You will have an eventful everyday life where you and your colleagues ensure that stores and consumers receive charcuterie of the highest quality.

Examples of tasks in production and warehouse

• Manufacture sausages, Christmas ham, pâtés, and other charcuterie products.
• Slicing, cutting, and packaging products.
• Report discrepancies such as broken packaging or incorrect labeling.
• Pick goods according to orders (with handheld computer or picking list).
• Pack goods on pallets or in boxes to keep refrigerated items cold and protect sensitive products.
• Label goods and pallets with traceability information.
• Check that orders are complete before delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in similar tasks within charcuterie production is highly meritorious.
• Education in food is a significant merit but not a requirement.
• You enjoy working in a team and have good communication skills.
• You are meticulous and have an eye for detail.
• You must be at least 18 years old before starting with us. 
• You have good computer skills.
• You are a person who understands the importance of teamwork and team spirit.
• You have good physical work capabilities.
• You speak Swedish fluently in both speech and writing.
• If you have a forklift license, it is an advantage and a requirement for work in the warehouse in Agnesberg.

During your initial time with us, we will train you in work, safety, quality, and hygiene. You will receive support from your colleagues, your team leader, and production manager to quickly get into the work.

Our work is divided into different departments where we receive raw materials, prepare our charcuterie, slice at machine lines, package, pick, and prepare for transport to customers.

You should be able to work full-time during the periods:

• w. 41-45 until w. 52.

You will work either weekdays during the day (from 06:00 to 15:00) or in 2-shifts, which means that every other week you work weekdays during the day (from 06:00 to 15:00) and every other week weekdays in the evening (from 14:50 to 23:00). If you work in Agnesberg, the working hours are 7-16.

Since there are early mornings and late evenings, it is important that you ensure you can be on site about 15 minutes before your shift starts. Please consider this before applying.

Please note that we cannot grant you leave during the above periods as Christmas is our busiest time.
