At Vår Omtanke, we are now looking for a personal assistant who wants to work with our male client living near central Visby on Gotland. The client is a cheerful young man in his early 20s.  In this role, you will make a difference in someone's life and work with us towards our vision – Everyone has the right to a good life.

About the position

We are primarily looking for substitutes, but there is also the possibility of being booked in advance for some fixed shifts. The person seeking new assistants is autistic and 50 years old. She needs support with cooking and managing her home. However, she can move around independently, so there are no lifting or transferring involved in the work.

Who are you?

Depending on the client's age, we believe this job may suit someone between 20-35 years old.

You are an honest and reliable person who genuinely enjoys working, and you have the ability to create a harmonious atmosphere around you. You should have great empathy, patience, and the ability to understand another person's situation and be very attentive. We are looking for someone with experience as a personal assistant or other relevant experience. As a person, you have good social skills, consider the whole client's needs, are meticulous and responsible, and have a good demeanor. It is also important that you are structured and can take initiative. We welcome both male and female applicants.

Working hours and employment rate:

Often, you will work shifts from 15:00 to 15:00 with some on-call hours during the night. There are also shifts from 7:00 to 15:00 and 15:00 to 21:00. We offer great flexibility as an employer regarding arranging working hours that suit employees well.

Type of Employment: Permanent position at 75%. If you wish to work less, we can offer that as well. We are also looking for another substitute, with the possibility of booking shifts in advance.

Salary: Fixed hourly wage by agreement, other compensations according to collective agreements.

Start date: By agreement
